Another one. Another unhaul!!! I don’t quite know how I’ve managed it but with this unhaul and the previous two combined (check out the first one here, and the second one here) I’ve gotten rid of over 200 books from my shelves!!!
Of course as always this is wee sneak peek as always before this video goes live in an hours time on my channel.
I’ve got a feeling this video might not have the best retention time because it’s so long!! 😂😂 but I wanted to make sure I had a document of all the books I was unhauling. One final goodbye! On a random, and very unexpected, day off of work I gave Caitlyn from Mad Cheshire Rabbit a call. We video chatted for over SIX HOURS and it was ridiculously fun, and I also got rid of loads of books!!!
I’ve had to be really realistic about which books I keep with the move. If I’m not going to reread a book, or if I’ve only picked it up because of the hype, it has to go. I want my shelves to be filled with books that I’ve loved, and so that means getting rid of some books that were just fine!
This isn’t the last unhaul from me. The first one (link here if you wanna watch the 55 book unhaul!) was going through the read books under my bed, and my tbr shelves. The second one that’s above was going through those same shelves and being harsh and realistic about what I actually wanted and needed to keep.
I also have boxes of books out in the garage that I need to go through. I’ve tried (and failed) to go through them before, so I’m hoping to go through those with Caitlyn too (because she is honestly fantastic and such a help) to get ri of EVEN MROE books.
And then last, but by no means least. The books on my regular shelves. The ones that have been packed up already. They’ve been fully Sellotaped into their boxes, so I’m not going to unhaul any of them until after the move, which I’m aware seems silly, but if you wanna go ask my ex-army dad to open them up again I won’t stop you!
I’m hoping to do a lot of moving in the near future. My parents are moving house, we’ve been in this one a long time and it was only supposed to be a rest stop. And I also want to move in with my partner! So if things go well… I’m going to be moving house twice before the end of 2021…. pray for me and my books!!!
