Blogoween!! 🎃

It’s Halloween!! If you celebrate I hope you have the most wonderful spooky, spoopy, creepy time!

It’s my first time having a Halloween in this house, as well as in my own house where trick or treaters might come round! So I’ve bought some sweets and if I’m lucky we won’t have kids round here and I can eat them all 😂

This also marks the end of VEDO: A Video Every Day in October. And honestly? Thank God hahahaha. This was definitely not the month for me to have this going on, on top of moving and the new job and my birthday and everything else! Honestly moving house is… much worse than moving for uni? Probably because this time around we’ve had to build all of the damn furniture and it takes forever!

It also means that I’ve not read this month. I’ve not touched a book since the 10th, at all. As I’m typing this (I’m scheduling it so I hope that this isn’t the case by the time this goes live) I’ve only read one book this month… which is the worst month so far I’ve had for reading!!

How has your October been? I hope you’ve been able to read more than me!!!

Cover Buying Books

We all do it… right? We see a beautiful cover and we just can’t resist!! So today there are 10 books that are on my tbr purely because of their beautiful covers!

This post (and most likely the posts that I put up all this week) are going to be from my VEDO videos, because this is my first week at my new job, as well as my birthday week!! So unfortunately I’m all creatived out hahaha. Hope you enjoy the videos this week!!

Five Favourite Classics

As a child I used to read a fare few children’s classics, but it took a while for me to get back into them as an adult. Today’s video is all about my favourite classics from childhood to adulthood and why I think you should read them!

Despite leaning towards the fantastical in my non-classic readings, within classics themselves I seem to lean into more of a contemporary angle which is really interesting! I’m not sure why that happens but as long as I’m enjoying what I’m reading I don’t mind!!

Tell me your favourite classics in the comments!!

What is VEDO and why am I doing it?

Back in April I saw lots of people doing VEDA, Video Every Day in April, and it looked like a lot of fun! My birthday is in October so I thought it would be really fun to do this then. Now when I was planning this I didn’t think that I would be both moving house 100 miles away and moving job at the beginning of the month.

Regardless of this probably being a bad idea… I’m doing it anyways! So if you want to see my daily videos please do go check out my YouTube channel and subscribe!

I know I post here daily, and that I post about my videos when they go up. I won’t just be reposting my videos every day, because I know that would be really boring. But I also am using up a lot of creative energy for this challenge so I may have text versions of my videos as well as some book reviews.

Let me know how much of an idiot you think I am for doing this!!
